The hypocrisy of it all!

I know that there is quite a bit of hypocrisy (unfortunately) in the realm of politics, but Pelosi just gets on my nerves, so hers bothers me just a little bit more. One minute she is backing mandatory restrictions on gas emissions, and the next she is requesting a large private jet that can make it from CA to DC non-stop. According to Rep. Patrick McHenry, "The jet that Pelosi has produces 10,000 pounds of carbon dioxide an hour, far more than the previous speaker used." As I was reading these articles I could not help but think of a John Adams quote I read yesterday: "In my many years I have come to a conclusion that one useless man is a shame, two is a law firm, and three or more is a congress."

Very Minority Report-esque!

Ok, so they can scan brain activity to determine what a person will do in the near-term. But what are they going to do with this technology? How will they implement it in the day to day? And will they try to use it to prevent crime? I almost hate to think...
