Snow and Sisters

Yes. My sisters decided (rather last minute) to come down for a visit! It was absolutely splendid in every possible way!!! We had plenty of time to talk and catch up, but also kept busy. I thought it would be a good idea to go snow tubing while they were in town. The ride wasn't long and we had never done it before. I think the pic below is of Patience, on her way down.

We got to the ski resort around 11:00 on Saturday. We paid for a 2 hour session and headed for the magic carpet (hardly the Aladdin kind, but fun nonetheless).

The sun peeked out from the clouds every once in a while, which was perfect. The glare from the sun on snow can be blinding at times, so the clouds were very much welcome, plus I thought they added something to my pics. =) The mountains were a nice addition too (aesthetically).
