One week, one day... and counting...

Henry David Thoreau once said, "nothing makes the earth seem so spacious as to have friends at a distance. They make up the longitudes and latitudes." I think that is doubly true for family! I am going home in eight days and even that is feeling like an eternity away right now. Funny... all I've ever wanted to do was travel, and yet I wasn't even as excited about going to Italy as I am about going home. Oh, the irony of life!
